Massaranduba hardwood flooring ("Brazilian Redwood") is in stock at Uncle Hilde's Lumber Outlet.
Here's a little video shot at the Merrimack, NH store showing prefinished and unfinished massaranduba flooring. This is something of an exclusive flooring product - some people in the flooring business might be familiar with massaranduba, but very few flooring businesses actually have it in stock. (Very, VERY few!! Like almost NONE!)
As a Lover of Wood, I do like many of the exotic species with dramatic color, grain and character, but part of the reason I love massaranduba so much is that it's such a classy-looking flooring product. It has a more refined, subtle classiness to it that the dramatic-looking hardwood flooring products don't have. And just like I mention in the video, this stuff is HARD and HEAVY, making it an outstanding choice for a super-durable floor.
And not only does Uncle Hilde's Lumber Outlet have prefinished massaranduba in stock, currently there is also some 5" unfinished too. That item is limited to current supply as we don't get it very often.
Massaranduba hardwood flooring at Uncle Hilde's
So tell me, where else in New England (or in the universe?) can you find both prefinished AND unfinished massaranduba hardwood flooring IN STOCK!??! Tell me!!!!!

Hickory solid hardwood flooring at Uncle Hilde's

Here are some photos of Uncle Hilde's 3/4" solid prefinished hickory flooring in "utility" grade.
This is one of Uncle Hilde's best selling hardwood flooring products, available in 3-1/4", 4" and 5". Currently there is about 13,000 SF in stock and we have more coming any day now. This "utility grade" product has an occasional defect that some customers will trim out or use in a less conspicuous area. But because of the rustic appearance and character of this hardwood flooring product, much of the time customers find they can just blend in the occasional wacky piece and the floor still looks great. At the price of this product, it is a deal that is just about impossible to beat.
Check the Flooring Catalog for the super prices on the three in-stock sizes.
Not only does natural hickory hardwood flooring have a full-of-character attractive appearance, it is a hard-wearing species making it a great choice for a tough-duty floor. Hickory is one of the hardest US domestic hardwood species - it's janka hardness rating is approximately 1800. (For comparison, red oak's janka hardness rating is approximately 1300.)
A beautiful hardwood species, hard-wearing, and priced right, 3/4" solid prefinished hickory makes a great flooring choice.

Slabs for table-tops and bars, projects, remodeling

Uncle Hilde's has a batch of natural wood slabs in Pine and Ash.
The consummate purveyor of bargain building product deals in New England, Uncle Hilde's just received a big, bodacious batch of New England natural, live-edge Pine and Ash slabs. Use your imagination to find a cool use for these bargain-priced natural wood slabs for home improvement projects in your house.
I had, and still have (retired to the basement) a beautiful slab of pine like these that served as my dorm room table in college. The stories that table could tell... but I digress.... I sanded it, and applied several coats of polyurethane, and guess what - all my dorm buddies were jealous and wanted it. How it was never stolen from my room is amazing. My dorm buddies were good dudes, but I can't say I wouldn't put it past them to steal my beautiful slab table if they had the chance.
When I see a natural wood slab today my mind automatically goes toward the idea of a custom table or bar. If you have a simple base of 2x construction faced with some nice T&G wood or wainscoting, all you have to do is add a wood slab to the top and you have the best home bar in the neighborhood. What do you need..... some nails and screws...some sandpaper and some polyurethane... DONE!
Little projects like these are easy and cheap.
