Amendoim exotic hardwood flooring (2-1/4")

Amendiom 2-1/4" prefinished in #1Common/Select grade. Beautiful! With a janka hardness of around 1900 it makes a tough, hard-wearing floor. Amendoim has been in very short supply. Luckily Uncle Hilde's has even more coming.

2-1/4" flooring, also known as "strip flooring," is a very traditional look in New England. Amendoim, even though not a household name for most people, is always in high demand in the flooring industry. We can never, ever seem to get enough amendoim hardwood flooring to meet demand. I think the reason it sells so well in New England is that it is not as dark as many "exotics," and has an appearance similar to some domestic hardwood species such as hickory. But much harder for a long-lasting floor. Currently we are down to just a couple thousand SF of 2-1/4" amendoim in the #1Com/Select grade, but thankfully there is another 7000-8000 SF on the way.

There is also some amendoim 3/4"x3" and 3/4"x4" in Select & better in stock in a 1-3' product. This grade doesn't have quite as much character as the #1Com/Select, giving it a slightly different appearance.
